Lets face it. If you have never hung up a tree you have not been cutting long. But when it is the first tree on a new job in front of the owner it will make you look bad. Well here are some pics:

Not too bad of a looking stump.

The honey locust was going to go anyways.

The property owner was inpressed with the way I handled the honey locust.

We all hang em up now and then. What matters is that you got it down safely.

hang up

we had one back in early feb. when thier was a ton of snow in the trees still. so we pushed it with the timberjack skidder. that went well. good job.

Awwww shucks. That ain't hung up. Just tangled a little.

As long as it didn't get stuck on somebodys forehead or second story gutters, it's just bad gravity in that spot.

It's known to swirl a bit in some spots.;)

Stay safe!

man i did the same thing on a great customer of mine some years ago...a federal defense attorney....i hung a pine in a beech he wanted to save, well i had a to call a crane to get it un hung!!! crane got stuck in his yard and made ruts....ruts went so deep they busted a water line for a pool and flooded the yard....bottom line is i fixed everything i screwed up, patched up the beech and we're all good...he still calls on me when he needs some tree work...you know that saying...mama said there would be days like this.
