Ever hear this?: "your like a monkey up there!" ma'am, we prefer "ninja" hahahaha. One of my neighbors is cuban, he referred some work my way, and when they were asking how I'm going to get a lift to their tree he says, "my friend, he's a lika the spider, he going up, up, up." hahahahahahaha

Oh yeah, all the time. I prefer Jedi, had one lady (rich Harley chick) call me a f'ing lunatic! She kept saying it, calling her friends "i got a f'ing lunatic in my tree, you should come see him" I wasn't doing anything crazy, she had just never had a tree worked on before. It started getting under my skin, then her big arse man comes home, hears her calling me that, stops her right away. I come down and we are cleaning up, he comes up to apologize, tells me "she's the f'ing lunatic"
Had a climber that I called wild thing, he was a dork, wanted to have a nic name real bad? So he would self appoint, first was "spider monkey", then it was "the tree squirrel", dork! He went so far is to draw up a pic and have it tattooed on him, it looks so stupid!
I fired him, and he went to 2 others, they fired him, now he is welding, wonder if he has a name for that!

They call me the tree sloth. I am not sure what one is but I assume they must be great climbers.

Derwoodi, Next to the lazer trimmer, Im thinking trained monkey(with handsaws of course)and my greatest idea, a one man blimp you could work off of. I see them at car lots all the time. Oh! you all laugh now, but everyone is going to want one. The big blimp I'll call it.:smile2:

Tried it once, I am totally new to SRT! Having a little trouble with the prussic vt knot I am going to try distel. 8 mm technora on Arborplex. I gotta play around with it. Maybe this week I will get some time for it. I will let you know how it goes Maybe I should video it for America's Funniest Video's! Lol

I have one and use it primarily for access. There's a pin you can pick up to make it midline removable, so if anyone is considering one make sure you get it. Usually I tie a running bowline w/ yosemite and ascend on that. Once I reach my TIP I lanyard in, take off the wrench, put on my adjustable friction saver, and work it drt. It's nice to already have my hitch on the line for the switch and going up 1:1 is much faster.

I'm probably 230 with all my gear on so I prefer drt overall but I've used the wrench a few times to work a tree. It's worth the $.

I haven't changed anything in reguards to climbing , but in reguards to my wardrobe I have started wearing the new T's with the extra 3" of material in the back so my ass doesn't show when I pick something up or bend over to fix something , pretty radical I know but the weather has changed and a cold asscrack isn't fun

The first thing I think to do with the dual system is to shoot the SRT tail over a second crotch, and then slide out to the middle between the two SRT TIPs to lower down DRT wise.

Its no secret. And its to much fluff anyway. To much #### going on. To work a tree with your anchor line running back down and tied off at the bottom is really not a very good idea.

I hear you Mcfly that is what I wanted it for primarily as well. Summer time here in the south and working a crown I just got to come down to cool off. I don't want hump my way back up. The other thing I really like about the wrench though is the redirects seems so much easier.
