auction sites

Go to an online auction site (or the used equipment site right here!) and look for used saws. You'll certainly get a more information from someone selling a saw here, but the selection isn't quite as large as a dedicated online auction site. Before you buy a used saw, look around to see how easy it is to get parts for it. For example, if you buy a used Stihl 090 that needs a sprocket, you may have trouble finding one.

Neighbors:

Your right, we were neighbors. There was a fellow in Massena that was going to restore an old Disston, model D0-101. Was that you or do you know who it was? Sent him an email to stop in and see mine, but never heard back from him. Was wondering how he was doing on his project. You can have Georgia. Spent time there while in the Army ( Ft Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield). Too hot and muggy for me. I'll take the north country snow. But sure hope all goes all right for you, in your new home and job. Seems like more and more are moving out of state for jobs, from this area. Can't really blame them. Take care. Lewis.
