I love this saw, but these days I almost never use anything bigger than a 20" bar ( the mind is weak, but the body is too). This was a 385 with a scored piston that I got a good deal on! I found a nice used 390 cylinder and a new Meteor piston. I paid a Stihl certified mechanic to put in OEM seals. I also rebuilt the carb. Its had approximately 10 tanks through it since the rebuild. Everything works as it should, it's a very strong saw, but I never use it as most of what I cut is under 10 inches. Loving homes only! ( this saw needs to be kept in the bedroom, even if that mean moving the wife to the garage)IMG_5904.jpegIMG_5901.jpegIMG_5903.jpegIMG_5902.jpegIMG_5906.jpegIMG_5907.jpegIMG_5900.jpegIMG_5908.jpegIMG_5909.jpegIMG_5910.jpeg

I don't 'love' any saw or machine tool for that matter. All just inanimate objects to be used for specific tasks and none of them can return any love either, unlike another human can... People today use that term 'love' completely out of context.....

That's a little weird! Are you telling me your saws don't sleep in your bedroom?! Clearly, this saw is not for you....

Certainly not. I sleep in the bedroom along with my wife and our dog who likes to capitalize on taking up as much space on the bed as possible, as often as possible...lol Saws stink and leak anyway so they stay in the shop...lol Our pup stinks on occasion as well when he passes wind. Nothing smells worse than a dog fart.
