Yep.. looks familiar..

How'd you like to be living in a 5 story apartment building, no heat, no power, no nothing... I feel rather lucky...

Great pictures. It is a shame that this happened.

The Oak in picture number 6 of Windstorm Lashes regions that split is absolutely enormous.

Picture 28 of the same set shows a iece of Aluminum Flashing that was thrown into a tree....

In your area too LakeSide?
A faller friend on mine from Montana called this morning and said he has friends over there right now raking in the money. He is putting an add in the paper for clean up and removal.

Tree Sling'er, great link to some incredible pictures. I was astounished by how many trees came down on one house in picture one. Western Washington definitely got hit hard. My buddy who lives on the Kitsap Peninsula reported that his power will not be restored until about a week from now. He is definitely glad that he has a wood stove and a good working saw. Thanks for providing a link to the pictures.

I WISH i had a camera....i saw a piece of truck today IMPALED on a lamp standard, and the rest of the trunk lying on each side of the lamp post...! :hmm3grin2orange:

HUGE chunk of trunk on that post!

Wow!!!!

Looks allot like Hurricane damage that we had with Katrina and Rita last year,, I was out of power 28 days I understand what you are going through!! we had to cut our way in,,,, glad I had my Saws and premix

Yeah, that's going on here too. Not as bad from what I've seen (I was gone for the actual storm) but we've got power out in alot of places, and branches everywhere.

I've got power, but I love heating with a stove. I feel bad for those who heat with electricity. It's gonna be cold tonight.

Good Link

Good pics, really brings it home. I like pic #25. Would've paid dollars to watch them make that first cut when the tree tried to stand itself upright.:biggrinbounce2: Saw overheat, yah, right. More like he made brown in his pants and decided to take five.

Some people really ought to wait for a the pros.:help:
