Please, I need guidance on how to trim my Hawthorn Tree. I just moved into this house and was told by my neighbor that the original tree died, and several came back. They would around each other and make a beautiful trunk. The tree is getting very low to the ground, but if I start trimming the bottom branches, it will take away from the beauty of the trunk. Does it have to be trimmed? If so,how?

If you are content with tree the way it is, you don't have to trim it. I would just cut off any dad branches.
