Right now, 7pm ct, Hazard Pay on the Discovery Channel is showing a program including climbing and piecing down a 126 ft euclyp (spelling) tree. Just a heads up!

Watching it now.

What a bunch of HACKS!

They are wearing spikes on a trim, have a guy (the host) in a tree, with spikes, 70+ feet off the ground, using a saw.

They just stuck him in the tree on spikes with no evident traqing. His first cut he cut the other climbers life line witht he saw!!!

What a disgrace! Now wonder we get bad names in the industry.

I just finished watching the truck segment. There's absolutely no excuse for putting a beginning driver in that situation. Complete disregard for public safety.

I liked the chipper part, they should have tried to be less careful cuz that would have been tough to do. Throwing the branch in javelin style off one foot...nice

The best part of that was the part when he says these guys are professionals! And then they pan to a topped, raped, hacked shot of the tree they worked with spikes!

No doubt, I always thought that dirty jobs was bad but they didnt involve possibly killing innocent people

That show is whacked...i stumbled on to that episode

i agree with a lot of...saying some of those storms are the worse in ten years...supper dangerous for normal citzens...and a experinced truck triver...

how could anyone really put him in that situation with the so called beigner experine he had of just learning..

i left near the end of the tree one

Was that so called "trim" a topping??

Good climbing technique

I enjoyed when the climber suddenly decides to move to the other leader and makes a huge repelling swing to the other side. They don't show his landing but then he makes the host do the same thing. The host gets burns from the rope on his hands and crashes into branches out of control at 50' up.

LOL. Sounds like a great show.

i can only assume that certain things with this show and dirty jobs are exagerted in the filming. there has to be extensive back stage review and practice of these jobs before filming. hazerd pay much more than dirty jobs has the host doing very dangerous difficult tasks. while they make it look like he just shows up and goes to work, i think thats an impossible premise. aside from a television network being a huge lawsuit magnet, i dont see companies risking their expencive equipment the way its made to look they do.
