Have any of you expirienced guys installed a hx in the furnace plenum on an angle?
The reason I ask is becouse my plenum is only 16 x 17 and I am thinking I want a bigger hx than will fit. The idea came from my air conditioner condenser, its mounted on an angle. Home is new construction 1700 sq ft.
My other option will be to cut the plenum off and install a box between the furnace and it.

I have put them on angles before, seems to work fine. I would think an 80,000 btu HX will do you house just fine.
