I know some of you have in floor heating in your homes , garages or shops. I am just getting ready to finally finish my install. What are you guys using for manifolds? I see there is quite a swing on pricing for these. I am thinking I want the complete premade units with flow gauges, temp gauges and purge valves.

Rehau and Taco zone valves. I have 4 manifolds. Garage, kitchen/living room, master bed, bedrooms.

are your pipes in 300 foot loops? radiant floor heating is my next (and hopefully) last project. I put in a 96% boiler two years ago and I want to eliminate all the baseboards in the house and just run pex under the floors.

the manifolds have pressure gauges on each run so you can balance them out evenly (?) I like the idea of purge valves in case you have to do something with one of the loops.

I have 7 runs in the house and they are 255'-280' runs. it was just the way it worked out. the garage I only have 6 runs and they are all right at 245'.
