Hello from upstate NY. Just picked up an old Asplundh 12" drum and amongst other things, can not find a data tag on it anywhere, could it have been riveted or glued and fell off? It is old as the 300 ci ford has a generator rather than alternator. I have been searching this site and the web in general for a manual and/or parts diagrams and while I did find a link to Altec the page for manuals no longer exists. If anyone has a pdf copy of ANY info and could email it to me at [email protected] I would be very appreciative. I have spent a few days reading info on this site about it and have learned alot already, thanx folks. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a fabricator and also an inventor and had an idea and wondered if anyone has approached it. There is a fan on the side of the drum to help in the discharge of chips. I believe by it's size and thickness of the vanes it would work as a leaf vac with a hose hooked up. anyone try it?
Thanx,
Brett
