name is Elvin live in the countryside, i 'm a metalworker by origine, but like all kinds of machinery, specialy vintage stuff.
i'm now into felling and chopping trees for fire wood for heating my farmhouse.
into axes, chainsaws, manchetes, tools.
I'm lucky to have the skills to make a lot of parts, etc myself. i have a little workshop with a Lathe, drillstand, tig welder, etc.
came by this group when i was looking for info on a Solo 92cc 1967 model 60135 wich i restored last week, i need a manual and some info....he runs good, not used it to cut yet...
i have a Stihl S 08 from 1964 as well who runs very good.
this was my first saw, bought it very cheap, was not running, but repaired it.
did my first felling and bucking with it, 7 large Canadian poplars .
