I've been scrolling AS for a long while now and figured it was time to join the conversation.
I am in Wisconsin and work as a Land Management Technician for a nature preserve, volunteer on a 1200 mile hiking trail in the state, and cut firewood for heating and for my dad's small hobby sugaring setup. This keeps me busy cutting everything from small invasives (buckthorn, autumn olive and honeysuckle) to 40" charred standing oak, dealing with windthrows across the trail and trying to stay ahead of EAB infected ash on my dad's land. I grew up running Stihl but have really enjoyed my Husky 545 mark 2 and my wife's Echo 3510. I appreciate all the AS members who have posted information about these saws and hope to keep learning from this great community.
