I came across a nice Poulan Super XXV anti-vibe, bit the upper anit-vibe rubber mount is broken. I don't have an IPL and the online ones I can find for S25 with anti-vibe show a different part. Anyone out there with an IPL for this saw that could provide a part number?

Thanks,

Hi Ray,
Thanks for looking. Yes I've done the same. I thought initially the S25 with AV would be the same part, but it looks different. The micro XXV is a smaller saw and completely different design. I appreciate you taking the time to check this out.

Posts some pics of the rest of the saw, we might be able to identify it
as a saw of a different model name/number. When Poulan absorbs some
companies, the old company's saws just change colors, like Pioneer/Partners
or the like. Just put up a pic of the saw, and someone will likely recognize it.

Hi Fish,
Will do. Here's a few of it prior to removal.

Hope this helps.

Thanks again for all the help.

The model is s-25 CVA. There is a mount on a stihl in the O30something that will work. I don't know which stihl it is for sure. You sure found a beauty. The cork gasket on the aircleaner is still intact. I ran this saw for years, and have a few sitting around.

Yea, I stumbled across this one for a Stihl 028 and thought it may fit, but it would be nice to put the proper Poulan part back if possible. At this point I don't own any Stihls and I'd feel tainted to buy a Stihl part to fix up a Poulan saw. I'm sure all the Stihl owners out there would feel the same about putting a Poulan part on their Stihl saw. Thanks for the suggestion though, and if I come up dry on the proper Poulan part, who knows to what depths I may sink to get the saw up and going.:)

I looked through every IPL I could scrounge up and cannot find your
particular saw, I have worked on that model as a Poulan Pro, and a
Craftsman/Sears, but cannot remember those model numbers. It closely
resembles a Stihl 031 top av mount, but has threads in the center, so if the
bottom 2 holes line up close enough, that would be a good rigging type repair.
I will try some old fiche at work, but I can almost promise you the part will be nla........
