Eclipse Wasp saw.
Got mine today running with the typical AH 47 engine. Got her in pieces for restoration and cleaning...But i noticed that the carb mounting is sideway ...indicating that it should have a float carb just like the description on Mike Acres site. Mine has a Tillotson diaphragm carb...I think it was replaced at one time...but the holding bracket has an original hole for vacuum pump diag/carb????Maybe they did fabricate some models with either float or diaphragm carb but i need a confirmation.....I do have spares Tilly float carb to do a swap but i want to be sure.
Another question is the THROTTLE lever fast iddle locking device ....there is an empty hole it it and the small arm is loose. Should there be some kind of a spring there or do you know if there is something missing? I put some pictures for you to look at.
