I'm just throwing this out there... My uncle just picked up an 84 for 500 with no broken pieces and more paint that yours. He said he saw a bunch for that price before ne pulled the trigger on his. Not trying to bust on ya... I try to get all I can out of saws too.

No busting here, that's why I posted the thread to see what the market was like for this saw. Thanks

I'll bid $201.00. To "clinch the deal" I'll throw in the remaining two pieces of Juicy fruit, and a fat lazy barn cat that don't seem to hunt anymore.

Seriously, welcome to the site. And good luck with the sale. Might be a tough sale as a newb.

how much for just the cat

Didn't post it on here to sell just to get an idea of what it was worth maybe this wasn't the right place to post.....

I understand , I've heard there has been some shadieness here recently and I can assure you I'm just looking for advice. I know the newbs get some smoke blowing and that's fine. I just don't want to come accross as some scammer. Hope to learn a lot and share with everyone on this forum.

It amuses me that every second hand saw in the states seems to sell for half of what it would sell for down here in Aus except the 084, the prices 6-800 are about the same as what we get for ours, so either we don't love em, or you guys do...
