Help with Chinese Pistache

Can anybody tell me what the attached pics are. Is this normal for the bark to be gone and cracking. These are pics of the tree limbs on my Chinese Pistache

I take it buy the photos that it is only on the one branch it looks to that the tree is just healing it's self from a torn off branch the
peeling of the bark is common of this tree around the wound just keep it clean free of bugs and it should heal it self up just nicely :)

These are mechanical wounds. The first is either a break, or limb sawn top to bottom at the union with out preparatory cuts, causing a rip/spit. It appears well closed. The second appears to me to be a gnaw spot from squirrel. The last... hmmm. underside of limb; scraped? the margins are hanging a bit. I think maybe it could be a grilling accident. You been frying burgers under that tree?
