Thanks Cliff - I'll keep that in mind.

When I got back to the cabin I touched up the chain and cleaned the saw, and I did check the plug color on mine - - and it was a good looking light tan. When I pulled the plug I didn't notice the wire being tight or rubbing anywhere.

Al:cheers:

I bought a Husky 235e for my dad. I'm going to return it. I didn't like it all. ( I have a Husky445, which I like very much. ) I once had a 435, which cut very fast and aggressively. Both those saws are light.

Here are the problems we had with the 235e. (We had to buy at Lowe's, no saw dealers in the area.) 1. The first one we got home wouldn't start. Took it back, got another one, made sure it would start in Lowe's parking lot. It did, but was very hard to start. The 445 on the other hand always starts on the 2nd pull. 2. The 235e was shockingly flimsy. The chain brake was so flimsy that when I pulled it back to relase it, it twisted sideways and wouldn't move back! Very flimsy plastic. 3. The 235e is overpriced, IMHO. A few more $$$$ would buy a LOT better saw.
