help with stove identification

i have a friend whos buying a new house which has a wood stove in place. he asked me if i knew anything about it. ive never seen one like this, but figured someone has. any info on this thing would be nice.

He might to want look on the back side of the stove for a ID plate, it may even have a UL file number on it that can be referenced for more information most of those steel plate stove companies came and went long ago. FWIW these days good chance it's not insurable anyways and there's really good incentives with tax credits for the remainder of the year to replace with a certified unit.
