Since my wife Linda doesn't have an AS account, YET :msp_sneaky:, this is what she posted to facebook:

I am humbled by the outpouring of generosity of about 15 strangers and my parents who came to our home yesterday to cut, split and haul 5 dumper loads of wood, fill our basement, change our yard light bulb and bring food. This was volunteer labor because they love anything trees and chainsaws and love talking about them and helping others. Dan has helped in the past at their wood cutting events for people in need and now we are receiving. Thank you.

Not sure about everyone else but I tried chopping ice at home today and after yesterday's workout my arms like jello and could only chop for about 30 minutes

Wasn't near as sore as I thought I may have been. I did miss my weekend afternoon nap yesterday, but did not miss it two days in a row.

Well, just the little walking around I did, and hooking up a couple of chains was enough for me!

I guess we should make this type of stuff happen more often! Who's next? I can be the "stupperviser" anywhere! :hmm3grin2orange:

Ted was yakking about having one every weekend.

Ted was yakking about having one every weekend at his place.

Fixed that one for you Jeff! :hmm3grin2orange:

Just kidding Ted! I would be fun to be a wood chuck at your place for a few hours!

How long do you guys think it would have taken one of use to have gotten that much wood up? (Ted, I'm not counting you because you'd have it all done in a day! :hmm3grin2orange:)

Five trailer loads, roughly a little over a cord in a load, would take about 5 days with no snow to bug me.

Coming from the guy that spent most of his day in the skid loader I take offense to being called a city slicker. :hmm3grin2orange:

I knew that would be your response! lol

Oh, I got my Dodge started. The choke linkage was just about off of the choke plate shaft and the choke wasn't closing!:bang: Popped right off with that thing closed! Imagine that!

It's a good thing too! I'll have to plow again tomorrow so the 2X4 van can get out.

Good to hear the dodge is running. Hope you got this latest snow cleaned. Thanks to Vini for cleaning out a bigger area so you had more room to push it. Don't over do it Dan, you need to heal up so you don't to many last affects from the accident.

Following this thread made me homesick. I was born (Forest Lake) and raised (St. Cloud/St. Augusta) in MN.
And around page 12 it made me hungry!
Wish I could have been there to help out and meet others.
Best of luck in your recovery Dan.

Yes, it was a good time with all of the saws buzzing! I hope your homesickness isn't lasting.

Yeah, I get boarded just sitting. So, I did some sitting in the truck! :hmm3grin2orange: I took it easier than I would have and not hit the banks as hard as before. Yes, it was nice to have the opened up space!:cool2:

FINALLY... the pictures!

Sorry about the big delay on getting pics of the day out here... Been CRAZY here lately! :dizzy:
