After much debate, I've decided I wanted to run the Alpina. The p100 looks like an awesome choice as well. I will take the alpina 120, and I would like some help finding a bar and chain for it.

I just want to listen to the saw. I've heard/ and seen on youtube that they have a distinct sound. I'm just starting to learn about these older large saws. I'm a youngin and a stihl 044 is an old saw to me.

I was dead tired, and didn't understand what he was going on about. To him, I apologize if I seemed snappish or confused......I was a little of both. These things are a lot of work......but knowing that we have helped a friend and his family through a rough patch makes it all worthwhile.
