Hey Ken,
Steve here... Did you get my 088 out yet.. I'd hate to show up at the Christmas tree farm this weekend with my little 066.......Yes Dennith it's got heated handles...

Hey Steve, have you ever hit your tailgate? The chain you gave me is working great. I've run about 5 tanks of gas through the 116, and the chain is stil sharp. been cutting dead elm trees to go straight into the fire. Pretty hard stuff. Will the 088 be ready for Baraboo? Date for 2004 is Aug 21. Just don't burn it up before then! I'm looking for something for the vintage stock class to make the 090 sweat. I picked up a Homelite 990D, but I don't think it will run with an 090.

Hi Steve, John here. Your 088 wont be ready till the New Year. Ken is building me a 362XP with a 372 jug and piston. Remember, there shall be no wine, until it's time.
John

Steve, keep working on it because I've seen those old Homies made to run. The other model 2050 or 2000 can't remember, was a good one to hop up too. You reminded me when I saw the 2100, I have one that Rolin gave me out in the barn that I never have played with. Some guy from back your way built it. I've seen Dennis Down from Ill. and Harry Burnsworth from Pa. run them. I think Harry won with it in Winfield, La. the year I was there.
Hey, my work truck runs just fine with a skil saw cut in the tail gate.

It`s amazing how easily tailgates are cut with a good carbide blade. Don`t ask how I know, I can`t tell you, err, someone told me, yeah that`s it. :D

Nice tractor Steve. I like the pipe on the 2100. Get it running, and it should qualify to run with the Macs at Baraboo.

Scott,
Steve here...
Thanks!! Can't wait til your race next year... Looks like I am going to be able to get a saw race going next summer at our county fair. I will post info as I get it.

Hey Dennis, Hey John Looks like ol Ken's been out runnin my 088...I think he put a piston in it from a 346, or something. dropped 6 tenths in a 12 1/2 inch bull pine. I hope he didn't get any sap on it.

Hey Scott,
Steve here...Please, don't tell Les, that my 088 is 6 tenths faster in a small round, without the pipe... Maybe I can make it a surprise!!

Hey Steve, pay old Ken a little extra so he can buy himself a block clamp to hold his sawing blocks in. I'll bet ya he's cut that cable before. Dennis

hey dennis i sent you a email tell me if you got it ok then i will send more

ehp, Ya I got it Ed, thanks for all that secret information about your head work. Send more! Thanks, Dennis

Hey Steve, another contest here in our part of the state would be great. Is your saw faster now after the mods without the pipe than it was at Baraboo with the pipe? Les might see this post, he does check in on A.S., so the secret might be out.
Scott

Just got off the phone with Ken and he's making headway with my 385 Dunninator. I am sure my neighbors are going to love this new gem to the Quiver.

I know one thing it won't be one of these.
