I decided to see how much more I could get out of my garbage Craftsman
42cc saw that came with an 18" bar (now has 16" the 18 seemed to large, saw was underpowered).
I Pulled all that garbage out of my muffler, and opened the exhaust ports a bit more, I removed my choke (as I have never had to use it) and carefully plugged the holes left behind in the carb, and i removed that stupid adjustment limit thingy on the carb adjustment screws and played with those...
It now seems to have enough more power to actually use that 18" bar...but...
what else can I do with out machining anything...???
