Prob gona get blasted by some pros on here but , I havnt done any work in the woods since I was a boy , using the old mans Craftsman which seemed indestructible it ran for my entire childhood . It seemed to weigh 40lbs .Anyway I have read that even some of the Stihls are even made in China probrobly due to labor costs . How close is the Holtz in the main parts case piston etc . What I do know is iait paying $2000 for an 066 if I have to mod the **** out of an Holtz feel free to pipe in if there is a better new option husky Echo whatever . Tnx Seymore .

Welcome to the site
There's literally hundreds of threads on the aftermarket clone saws.
I have no use for stihl clone's
But I've run several 372 clone's for
Several year's
Still together no real problems.
