Steve here...
Here is the clip of my 2100. This is just a simple mpeg. The avi movie I was trying to upload to this site yesterday was huge...but it was alot better quality than this clip.
That being said...I want to thank Doug Babcock again for all the help finding the video editing software for my Sony TRV70.
With this software I am able to upload a digital movie onto my computer with a firewire, that goes from the camcorder to a 1394 port on the back of the computer.
When the movi is open in the video editing software I can click thru the saw cut one frame at a tyme. Camcorders are made to a standard that is 29.97 frames per second. That translates to .033sec per frame...This clip I posted is analog, but in digital form it comes out to 58 frame... times .033=1.914sec

Anyway the saw is as I said one of my 2100 Homelites, with a set of V12 Gem reeds and a borrowed 191 Tillotson from Ken Dunn, it also has an A4 pipe on it as well.

Is that your tach on the top of the handle?

Keep the clips coming.
Did you get rid of the virus yet?

tach

Mark,
Steve here..
My mom is going to call me this week to go thru it.
Yes that is a digital tach...In the video it was spinning 9300ish in the wood, with my other pipe its around 10000.

That looks like a scene from some movie I saw on the spanish station. Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers?

What are those, a 2100 and a 3100G?

Steve here...
Here is another short clip of the Super2100 cutting 12X13 Cedar.
I took 2 inches out of the header, and now it runs like it did with the 088 pipe, which is two inches shorter, than the A4 pipe I have for the Homelite. The rpm in the wood came up 700rpm. To about 9800
