are parts still available for this old saw? i can't seem to find anything on this model.
maybe it would be better off as a boat anchor? ..
its been sitting in a barn for a lot of years.
thanks for any advise in advance

New parts are going to be hard to come by, but may still be out there somewhere-depending on the part. I'm not familiar with the 922 and what parts it shares with other models.

As to the boat anchor comment, unless it is well and truly destroyed, I'm sure it isn't to that point yet. I'd sure give it a good home before seeing it go off to the trash heap.

i haven't had a chance to tear into it yet to see what all it needs. theres a 034 tore apart on the work bench now waiting on parts to come. not that i need the homelite, just thought i would like to have a working older north american made chainsaw, and this one was in the barn ..
maybe i'll get to it this week some time.
thanks for the info

nice website!
spent some time looking around it.
i will attempt to attach a couple of photos to this post of the homelite and another old saw thats in the barn.
according to mike acres site it a model hc

it could be yours if it needs more work than i want to put into it.
i'm sure it would like a trip down south.
