Of course I had to walk my 5-beers-deep butt out to the shop in my stocking feet to check. :)
No AV above the bottom one that I can see without pulling the clutch cover off.
I guess the 5 bolt cover theory doesn't apply. It's the same engine though ? It's now just a question of thin ring or not ?
This is my 1st saw with a full wrap handle. Are they legal on the right coast ? LOL

All the 650s and 750s I've seen have a 5 bolt starter cover. Never saw an IPL that called for a different part number for the rings, so as far as I know, they all used the thin rings. The bottom end was beefed up on the super (bearings and I think the crank also), but otherwise its pretty much the same engine.

As for the full wrap handle on the East coast, doubt you'll have anyone come after ya if you're holding her in your hands with full throttle and a 36" bar throwing chips :chainsaw:. :)
