I have a Homelite Super E-Z Automatic. The Engine plate has Model: S-EZ and Serial number 21290499.

Any idea how old this saw is and any recommendations on a good place to get tune-up parts?

Last weeked when cutting some wood it would start right up but when I gave it the throttle it would start to die out. If I played with the throttle I could keep it running at higher than idle speed.

Thank You

Could also be as simple as the fuel line inside the tank is old and soft and collapsing on ya, I'd check there first (filter too), had the same problem before and missed it the first time as it looked fine (it wasn't). When I finally pulled it out all the way it we found it pooched, a little ingenius usage of copper tubing and the old beast fired right up and is Stihl going strong. This was after pulling the carb off and wasting half a day trying to put it back together again.....DOH :bang:
Somewhere here I posted a pic or two of a HomieXL76 (?) with its old black rubber fuel line, little gooey nuggets of joy (make sure you get all the pieces out lol).
