had a super ez auto dropped on me to problem solve today. everything is sound just missing the flywheel. anyone know which models i should look for that a fitting flywheel would be labelled under. coil is on and works. will be looking to turn over this saw when done.

I am pretty sure I have one....saw it yesterday....post a pic so we are talking the same frame as the homelites are notorious for crossed up and re-used model names....is it points or solid state coil?

not sure how you spell this,
but isn't there two different flywheels possible?
a phelon and a wisco?
ipl shows two different part #'s.

I came upon a problem in this area in the early nineties, except at that time
there were 2 different flywheels and ignitions, but both had the same part
numbers. I discovered this after several calls to Homelite. They were
very helpful. The polarity of the flywheel was reversed, and that was
the difference, but at the time they both had the same part numbers, I
guess they finally sorted it out, so you will need to find the matching flywheel.
I suppose they bought their ignitions from both vendors, and did not specify what the polarity was when they ordered them.

Thank you Fish....you are quite correct I had completely forgotten about that

I need to know which manufacturer name on the coil as well gunnar

You may need to get a coil AND flywheel

one of those pretty light blue prestolite coils. thats about as descriptive as i can get short of a pic... and this dialup doesn't make it worth it.

the guy just brought over a homelite 150 to go along with the set. i think i might just let this list "go to a good home"

not officially a want add.. just a heads up

2 micro poulans in need of coils
homelite super ez in need of flywheel
homelite 150 in need of some lubing then who knows
and maybe a homelite super two with the two triggers.. just needs the rope redone and a nut (comes with case)

will post pics with interest... otherwise going to the big Bay dump

not a nut with a case... yeah that doesn't come off well.

bar stud nut.. probably have it here. just its current status

got pms and taking names

have parties interested in one some or all. realize i haven't responded to them all... haven't had any bids however. will post pics to show off this portion of my collection.
