Anyone know how old my Homelite Super XL AO is, and where I may find parts. thank you

What parts do you need? There's people that hang out on this forum that have some parts, although they can be hard to find.

I need 2 chain guides ( stamped sheet metal), and points.
this one is blue in color-not sure if it predated the red ones.

Got 3 SXL-AO's in various stages of repair/disrepair. Randy's Engine Repair (find him on flea-bay) has allot of parts, not the cheapest, but a decent guy to deal with.

Another good person to deal with as far as Homelite spare parts is a member of AS and on ebay too is Scott Desjardins. He uses retoocs555 on this site & on ebay aswell. I have bought parts from both Scott & Randy Duncan & both are standup guys. Also check Curt Baileys store on this site as well. One or all of these guys will have your parts. You are correct the blue super xl is the older saw from Homelite. Good luck. It is getting harder & harder to get parts for these old machines, but they are well worth the effort!
