Homelite Super XL Auto

New here and new to chainsaws. Came across this Homelite Super XL Auto from a garage sale today for $15. It's ugly as hell, but runs great as far as I can tell. I'd like to freshen it up a bit, but don't know what specific model it is. Any help is appreciated.

Specifically looking for a chain and air filter. I found chains the fit "most" homelites. Will I be safe picking one of those up?

The chain should be a 3/8" .050 gauge and it it's a 20" bar you would use a 70 link chain. As for the air filter they still have them at some shops or on ebay.

Yes. It would take a shorter chain, 60 drive links on a 16" bar. That's the links on the bottom of the chain. You can count them to make sure it's the right chain. Generally these links will have a "72" stamped on the side of the link.
