homelite VI-955 & MC mac 10-10A parts

Hello all-
was just given 2 saws that haven't been used in 15 years or so.
homelite VI-955 and a McCulloch mac 10-10A.

The McCulloch will start and run at full throttle but dies if I let off the gas.

What am I looking for? I have been searching the internet for the carb rebuild kits and airfilters but the parts houses want the exact parts number so I get the right kits.

what I know so far.

Homelite has a Tillotson HS carb...but I am not sure which one. the stamp is illegible. something like HS151B71?? anyone know which carb rebuild kit will work? airfilter too?


Mac 10-10a. has a walbro sdc carb. but has 2 sets of numbers.
on the front(gas tank side) 21-35
on the back 4-76 37A
also need the rebuild kit and airfilter.

any help would be great.

I wouldn't do this again as it sounds like a air leak to me and you could seize the motor.
