Hello guy: I don't have any informaiton on the XL-123. I've sent Mange all the Owner's/Parts IPL's that I have in PDF format and he's posted them on the samlaren/forum. I'm in the process of obtainning a 5-20 0wner's manuel that I will convert and send to him also. As I get the manuels I'm looking for I'll gladly scan them to PDF and have them available to anyone who wants them. I'm hoping that anyone out there that has the manuels for the older saws will do the same (Lombard, Bolens, Disston, IEL, Titan, Mall, etc, etc). I would really like to see more of those old manuels made available. If everyone would chip in, with what they have, I think that this could be done in a relitively short period of time. Husqvarna has them available from their hoome page on the net, so they should be no problem to get. Stihl, form what I'm told, is in the process of converting all their manuesls to PDF format. The fellow I contacted says that he doesn't know when the project will be completed, but they're sstill working on it. I'm hoping that anyone with the older manuels will convert them. I would be glad to help, if someont wanted to somehow email me copies of their manuels and I could convert them to PDF. Usually if you have a scanner, you scan the individual pages and click save as, type in a file name and under file type click PDF. The first page is saved and additional pages are scanned and added to the file. That's how it works on mine. I find that the files are larger if saved as a bitmap image and they are smaller in size if I use the 256 Million colors. Don't know why. OK, Rambled on enough. Keep me in mind if you want to convert files or need copies of them. If you have an old saw manuel and wanted to mail it to me, I'd scan and convert it and mail it back to you, if that would help.Take care. Lewis.
