I put one of the little universal electronic modules in my C-72 about 15 yrs. ago and never looked back. It starts and runs much better with the module than it ever did with points. As far as I can tell a universal module will work with any 2 or 4 cycle single cylinder engine that does not have a stator winding. The extra magnets in the flywheel of riding mower engines etc. that have a stator can cause the module not to work. But I've never seen one NOT work on a chainsaw. Why do people still mess with points when a module is cheaper, easier and better?

thanks mike.. when i see him ill see if i can determine exactly what he needs ..hes busy so ill see him when ever. thanks

Looking for Homelite 20" sprocket tip bar

Hi, I'm looking for a USED 20" to 22" bar for a Homelite XL-400 with a sprocket tip nose. It doesn't matter what brand it is. 3/8, .050. I got it with a 20" hardnose. I think I need either 70 or 72 drivelinks??? Looking to spend around 20 dollars. Bar doesn't have to be new, but should be in fairly good condition. Let me know if anyone has one. Thanks alot.
