Alright, I am in the middle of a Career Development course and I have been asked to research something that interests me. So I am looking for some information and I hope that someone here can point me in the right direction.

Does anyone know where I can find potential growth for the tree service industry? I have looked into the Bureau of Labor Statistics and other government websites for this information. I have found some basic information about pay rates for different positions but not a lot of other information. If someone doesn't mind sharing some information and answering a few other questions that I have please pm me or email me at [email protected].

I apologize if I put this in the wrong forum.

We are all looking for growth in the the tree industry! Figure that out and I'll Hire you as rykr consulting. Seriously be more specific not sure what your wanting

Sorry, I meant statistically what the potential or anticipated growth for in the industry. For instance, they say that nursing will be up 15% (absolutely made up number) or something like that. I just can't find the usual statistics in any of the government websites like I can for other industries. If you look up construction or something else, a bunch of data comes up.

I tried looking up the TCIA information but a screen popped up saying that I had to be a member.

I realize I was far too vague in my question. Everyone would like to know where potential growth is at... Believe me, if I find it I will write a book.

A community college that offers an arboriculture program might have some stats for you.

All I can really say is that it is regional.
The residential market is dog eat dog,,stay in bed,,(unless you have golf courses. schools, HOA's,) ,,etc,
Trees are a liability, so if Mary slip's on a date palm fruit walking to her Hotel room, or Larry on the golf course had a piece of deadwood from a euc hit him in the head,,etc,,
Like I said, probably regional,,,
Jeff, we dont do residential,, much,,:)

Thanks for the info. I did find tree trimming and removal lumped with landscaping and lawncare.
