Don't really have time to check it out right now, but I sure would be glad to relieve you of the saw; thus relieving you of the burden of finding out! Sure would make a nice addition to my homelite collection.

A red rear handle/carb chamber with a blue fuel tank/crankcase and a red bar cover says is a mix of who knows what 700,800,900 series parts. Check the bore (pop mufller and measure diameter of cylinder) and look at what type of ignition it has (could be points or one of at least 3 different types of electronic ignition systems) and these will be a good clue to at least tell the type of the guts of the saw (even though these could get swapped also). Whatever it is, these are some nice old saws.

It's on ebay.I was looking for a Homelite that would be at least 80cc or better.
I have an XL, XL 12 and a Super XL , kinda wanted something with some more muscle.
Gotta love them old Homelite's :)

Thats a serious mutt for sure. Looks like a mix of some 700, 800, 900 series parts. May be a good oppertunity to pickup a bigger cube homie cheap. If it runs that is:hmm3grin2orange:
