I am pretty new at messin around with saws, but I am trying to rod a homey xp 1020. so far the cylinder is decked and it has a pipe. not an expansion chamber yet just a 2 inch x 18 in pipe. i am running an 8 pin and 375 chisel. the rakers are cut down to .125 also has 30 sprocket nose. Currently it is about 10-11 seconds in 20 inch maple and i can't kill it. Is this competetive? should I go up 1 or 2 more pins on the rim? thanks for any info. If anyone is wandering this is the saw that my old lady ran over. when rebuilding I figured maight as well try to hop it up.
