Fuel injected saws require a very expensive fuel pump, not just a metering diaphragm. It's around $600 to replace, that's why I was wondering
It’s mostly a couple diaphragms similar to a normal carburetor. Has a metering side and a fuel pump side with diaphragms and gaskets for each. About $100 with the primer bubble included

Yes, the 044 can run very fast in softwood, as can the 462.
That's good to hear! It felt like it did pretty good to me, but I haven't run it side by side anything but my dad's 046...

I was getting ready to order a 24" TsuMura Ultra Light bar off ebay for $90+tax, and a Stihl full comp square grind chisel chain (but I can't find any square grind chains that aren't skip chain). Anyway, in my search, I ran across the Duke bar and chain combo for $55 including tax and shipping. How good are the Duke laminated bars? How much weight savings is there really from a light bar on a 25"? Is the Duke chain any good? My cheap skate/practical side says to buy the Duke combo and save probably $100 by the time it's all said and done, but I also do believe in "buy once, cry once." What would y'all recommend?

Also, why can I NOT find any full com, full chisel, square ground Stihl chain? Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Am I calling it the wrong thing?
