Hi!

I'm trying to learn how to get some pictures to you. This is my saunas stones (over 100 kg) before and after warm up.
It's nice to sit in hot sauna (about 80 celsius) and then go to roll in the snow...

We have a lot of Finns up in the Northern peninsula of Michigan, and one of the things they brought along is the hot sauna. Its kinda hilarious to see a sauna being used out in the wilderness of our upper penninsula. I have been in one and had a great time. Between the smell of the cedar branches, the heat, and a couple bottles of wine I was having a great time.

You can keep the jellied fish though- Blech!

where i grew up in the Kootenays, our neighbour had a HUGE cedar log cabin sauna, that had a deck right on the lake. It was heated by by a massive wood stove, with hot rocks on the top. Searing heat for half an hour, then you jump into the icy lake. Quite the shock on the system, but boy it promoted circulation. Friends grandad used to go in it every day, heat soak then icy lake, 4 times . He lived to 104 and still split the wood for the sauna at age 100.

man we had some great parties in that sauna......

hot rocks!
