Dang!!!!!!!! We have trees down everywhere!!!!!!!!! It's Horrible!!!!!!!

Just kidding just rain.

Hitting Wilmington now, winds 60-ish but set to go down as it crosses land. Veering east of Raleigh. Van is packed and I'm waiting to hear from Wilmington and New Bern, and I'll travel east tomorrow if I hear of any significant damage. No calls yet, not expecting much.

That's fine by me, there'll be others.

somebody told me that the trees up there are large and anyone with a sc252 will be laughed out of town. is it true?

Lets just say they would not be laughing when you try to charge them for sprinkler damage that you caused with your stumper

my freind is there looking for a stump sub call 342-89704

lopa our phone #s have 7 digits not 8

Inno we do not need more big chippers around here; got plenty. Also got plenty of "mine's bigger than yours" chest-thumping nonsense. If anyone chased a baby storm like this with nothing but the ability to cut and chip and grind, I'd laugh em out of town.

I'm on the west edge of the eye and it's only a moderate rain. Some moderate gusts, but nothing bad. storm cells will be wrapping aroundthe eye for a couple more hours. I'll go out and look around when it's light but I doubt I'll see much down.

Chill guys. Wait for the next one, or better yet stay home and focus on tree care ;) instead of chasing removal work. That's a losing game--more and more treecutters and less trees to cut.

Gigi wind is only in the 20's and airport has no rain.

just talked to rocky mount they are getting the eye now. some big oaks I worked on last year are "dancing" says the manager, but holding up well.

still tryin to get thru to new bern; they are getting it bad but not terrible.

one call so far, 12" oak toppled into a grove and is leaning. rode thru the hood checking on some trees with structural issues and they all held up.

what's brewing in the atlantic?

Nothing but a light rain so far in NoVa. Forecast for 40-50 MPH wind, but I don't believe it. Lots of school closings.

These clowns close a school for an inch of snow, though. Idiots.

Gusts to about 40 kts here now on the coast. We're in the NE quadrant, so lots of rain here.

I wonder how the seas are out in the canyons today...
