It's not anti-vibe chain.

Holds up better than Oregon Dog terd chain, but some folks don't like filing it.
It's not as "Fast" out of the box as Oregon...but wait untill after 20 cuts or so and it will be.;)

Out of the box, you might have to put the file to it.

Stihl RSC is faster and hold an edge about the same or better.

Try a couple loops and see for yourself. Some folks REALLY don't like it because of the filing issue and the vibes.
For the price, it's hard to beat though.

Stay safe!

Woodland Pro Chain is Carlton. Though not available at baileys to fit many saws, I am really impressed with the semi-chisel loops

Ok thanks . I've kind of accidently acquired some good 50 ga. Bars . Baileys 100 ft rolls are at a good price .and they have some ok lookin 50 ga. bars on sale too . I've never run Carlton chain but will give it a try ..
These 460 s and 372s arn't as rough on chain as 6 cube saws are so 50 ga.should hold up . .

Thanks for the info . I appreciate it .

The Oregon, Carlton, and Windsor brand names are all owned by Blount. I don't know if the Carlton/Woodland Pro chain is made of the same stuff and/or comes off the same assembly lines as Oregon branded chain or not. I can't tell any difference in performance (but I do like WP 30 SCS semi=chisel chain).

Nothing wrong with the Carlton chain, stands up as well as any of the others, generally costs less than Oregon brand. Shop around there are less costly sources than Baileys. I ran Windsor for years ( that is what was carried by my supplier) Then some Oregon and Stilh, now Carlton, can't tell much difference all .050. Stretch on all was about the same. I really should change to .058 or .062 to minimize this, but it gets a bit pricey between sprockets bars and new chain. Just got some new Forester bars, other than needing to open up the oil supply port on them I can't say much more as I haven't had much time on the yet.

A few months back I received a couple spools of Oregon and Woodland Pro and a couple loops of Carlton; I have full comp and semi skip Oh yeah and a bunch of Stihl loops. The one loop I really liked is the Carlton semi skip seems to last the longest between sharpening between Oregon; Woodland Pro and Carlton stamped chains.

Stihl loops lasted the longest between sharpening of all four of the chain/loops; all loops were full chisel or semi chisel. One thing is for certain I won’t have to buy any chains for a long time other than to play/test them.
