I was wondering who could top 20?
I started in 91 and as of curently I have done work for at least 20 diffrent tree companies of all shapes and sizes around my region.
I know what you are thinking but I have only been fired once in my life from a job and that was intentional.
Most of my roaming was due to " moving up the pay scale" or subbing out. Also I haved moved my residence a few times prompting closer work. During these years I have always done my own work as well being an employee or a sub. In some instances I would work a few at a time.
I was just curious to see if this was something of intrest to anybody else with the same experience.

I can, but not all of my jobs involved running a chainsaw. Construction included, over 30 at least since 1985. Tree service-since '99-8. Since '87 not tree service but using saw bucking, spacing, slashing r.o.w.-3. Construction since '85, too many to remember. Longest, just shy of 3 years, tree service, quit and went back for a few months a bit later, quit again. Present- about 6 months, good so far, decent outfit, we'll see. Only fired once, unjustly, settled in my favor.

Reasons for leaving, lots, many good guys I quit on due to circumstances, a few culls I walked on for good reason. Variety, as has been said before, is the spice of life.

Hell if we were talking about other than tree work I would be up all night. No just tree work.
