How to lube clutch bearing?

I have a Husky 455 rancher. What is the best way to lube the clutch bearing? Can you get grease into the bearing without taking off the clutch? It appears that oil is the only option unless you disassemble the clutch which requires a special tool. Any suggestions? Is grease really necessary over oil?

Is there what looks like a deep depression in the end of the crank? I don't know that model, but the 281XP I used to have basically had a hole in the end where you just applied a grease gun and it went through to the bearing.

There is but it does not pass through. I dropped some oil on it and it just lays there.

Easier than I thought, just drip engine oil into the clutch drum as you rotate it.
