Contemplating getting Echo cs-360 basically new or 355 to replace a crackpot 201t only issue is we have a lot of the stihl 14” chains for the 201. Anyone know how I could do a bar swap or mod to keep using those chains?

Thanks

The Echo bar takes 52 links of 3/8 LP (Picco). Sorry, I can't help with modifying the Stihl bars to fit, but people do fit Stihl 1/4" pitch bars on the Echo 2511, which has the same mount as the 355. Do a search on that conversion to find out how they do it.

Drill a new hole for the chain adjuster to catch and you can swap back and forth. I run stihl bars on my echo 2511. You may have to cut a slot for oil may not.

Obvious hole without slot cut is oem hole. Now It can fit on both saws no problem. The gap makes up for the extra or missing drive links.
