I understand they are different classes of saws, my question is so:

The Stihl runs a 59CC motor at 1400 rpms to make 4.4 HP

The Husky runs a 66.7CC motor at 12500 rpms to make 4.4 HP

How does that stack up in a cut? Would the Stihl cut faster, being it is turning more RPMS? Would be less 'torqy' than a 268 that has a larger displacement, so it, in relative terms, 'deisels' along at a lower RPM ?

That Stihl hp is bhp, it is actually 3.3 kW/4.5 hp in the US - 3.4 kw/4.6 hp here in Europe.

The non-xp 268 is 3.2 kW/4.4 hp, while the 268xp is 3.5 kw/4.8 hp.

Thanks for the fine tuned stats, so the 361 gets a leg up on horsepower...

But Im still curious, how would a higher revving, lower displacement saw run against a low revving, higher displacement saw if they had the same horsepower?
