Howdy! Pretty much just been cruising the forums looking for different advice and tips on saws and where to find some parts for a free to me saw.

It is an older MS360C. Believe it is from 2003.
Saw Serial Number - 260912762
Chain brake cover - 1125 021 1104
Chain brake handle - 1125 792 9100 additional #112?
Chain brake band - 1125/03 E Best I can do for a part #

Someone left the saw on high idle with the chain brake engaged.
Burnt up the Clutch, drum, brake band. Melted the oil pump worm gear, needle bearing, brake cover, the oil line, and part of the chain brake handle (still works but would be nice to replace or plastic weld with a Stainless steel reinforcement screen)

So far I have replaced the clutch, drum, needle bearing, worm gear, and the oil line. All with Stihl OEM parts. I cleaned up the burnt bits on the chain cover but it would be nice to replace with a new one. Removed the carb limiter caps but I need to wait for the drum to come in to tune it.

I also removed the Stihl quick stop plus from the saw, This was only a larger spring so it is not necessary for the inertia brake to function. Mostly removed it because this engages the brake band when you release the handle. If the saw goes wildly out of tune for some reason I would rather like to see the chain move than burn out another very hard to find and expensive clutch and drum. if you guys want pictures I can post some.
