I tend to lay a nail or two under the feet of the Farmertec fanboys that have the whole catalog of saws and just had time to put a tank of fuel in either one.
But look it this way; it is what it is a cheap copy. But when you have fixed the few problems that appears the first season, you have a cheap copy that basically looks the same, that basically feels the same, that is basically buildt the same, and with basically the same power, and that basically runs the same.
It does come at a cost; a little frustration perhaps, but a few OEM parts later those problems does not re-appear.

It’s made in China I know what it is. I paid for a discontinued husky model saw made in China. It says made in China under the airfilter cover. It came with oem husky decals.

Ok I pull it apart. This has the throttle cable to the carb. I’ll do a inspection.

We need to know what we’re looking at and buying. Inspect it carefully. It’s very easy to get scammed today with a clone calling it the real deal.

We have a supply of AM and new husky parts to keep it running. If I need them. something to play with.

The Swedes are letting China manufacture there discontinued saw models.

First I’m not rich, I had gift cards from my birthday, Christmas to buy what I wanted. I have $68+ $75 left.

I think that might have an open port cylinder on it, I could be wrong but I think the cylinders with the bolt on intake boot are open port.

AM 365 open cylinder I pulled off a saw a few years ago.

If your going to port it, its kinds silly not to put the bigger better closed port jug on it when its 20-30 bucks.
Simply putting the 52mm cylinder on it with no base gasket would be a big improvement.

I've looked into porting these saws alot as I was going to get one but dont really need it and the price went up so I didnt get one.
Everyone claims they dont last if you turn them up too high so I'd go big bore with stock height ports for lots of grunt without the crank destroying high revs the china crank doesnt like.

I have a feeling the china hoosky doesn’t like 50:1 ratio. I have bigger cc saws to run.

Note, metal clutch cover.

I’m for disassembling the saw down to the engine and pressure checking it first. Inspecting it. Then reassembling if everything is ok.

It's not that its needs more cc's, its the open port 48mm cylinder doesnt work that good, even a closed port 48mm cylinder is quite a step up from it.
I've always run 32-1 in everything two stroke, 50-1 is only for helping the saw pass a emissions test IMO, the fact they dont seize from it is proof they're over built and under stressed.

50:1 is enough oil for piston and
cylinder. Not enough for bearings if you want long life.

First thing wrong report.

The rear handle throttle lock doesn’t hold the trigger on fast idle. Which makes it hard to start when cold. A whole new handle gas tank is $17. I’m not sure how the trigger assembly comes apart.?
