Have you ever wanted to split wood in your heated pole barn during the bitter cold -10° winter months? I sure did so I did an electric conversion on my 22 ton Huskee spliter. Bought a 5hp 230V 3450 RPM electric fan motor to spin my pump. Fabricated a mount out of 1/4" plate and boom! No more choking on fumes! And it has more power now than it did with the Briggs. It builds pressure almost instantly! Have never herd it even slow down when busting 40" oak rounds 23" long! Have split over 4 cords with it without a hitch. Having the convenience of just flipping a switch to turn it on is also a plus!
