My boss has two 141, and they run good. I think they're about 6 or 7 yrs. old. I don't really know if he has ever had any problems with them, but they are a very common saw so finding any part shouldn't be a problem. For the price, its a great ground saw, or climbing saw if ya like a tail handle. He keeps 16" bars on them. If he would get a ???? computer he would tell you himself. Good price on them compared to similar size Stihl. We do run these saws everyday too.
I have a dead one layen out in the shop. It lasted about 2 months in hard wood. This was a new saw and I guess you could say it still is. I took the jug off and found the wrist pin keeper had come loose. Went between the piston and cylinder. It was too messed up to fix, I can all most buy the new saw for what the jug and piston cost. To bad, it was a sweet little saw. lots of power
It is a good saw, I find it compariable (power, weight, and such) to my 025. However I perfer my Stihl over the husky because I dont like the way the pull cord feels when you pull it, and the kill switch and choke is a PITA compaired to Stihl
yeah, if I got glove + liners on, I can hardly shut it off. The top handle huskys ain't like that. They're also about 150.$ more than a 141. I've never run an 025, but I've run an 021, and an 026, and the 141 kinda feels like the 021.
My brother-n-law has the 136 version of that saw. I don't care for it myself but I helped him cut wood with it and that little thing will cut. It has to be pretty tough to survive the way he works saws.
