Good day,

I have a couple Stihl 051 parts saws (oil cap on top) that I’d like to maybe exchange for some newer 051 or 076 parts to build the popular 051/076 hybrid saw for bucking some of the bigger timber we get on the west coast😎

One of the saws is complete with full wrap handle and I did have it running (been sitting for a year now)

My location might make shipping challenging but if anyone is interested I’d be more than happy to come up with an agreeable solution that works for both parties.

I have quite a few 051 parts including a some nos crankcases. Let me know what you need. Part numbers are a plus

I will definitely get you some part numbers! As for right now the serial number on the saw is #8579312

Haven’t had much luck finding any search tools for looking up old part numbers, maybe someone else on here would have better luck!

I think the only things I’d really be after for the hybrid build is the intake riser and muffler from the 076, and possibly the flywheel/ignition parts. The rest I believe I could find through Chainsawr or EBay.

As for p/n# for those particular parts I’m not too sure. But what I can do is include some part numbers from the saw that I have (my 051) and maybe they could be cross-referenced to find the right stuff.

I’ll get what I can without disassembling the saw because I still use it.
The clutch side case part# is 1111 021 0810
Air filter base is #1111 141 0801image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

There use to be a site you could put your serial numbers in and it would tell you but it got disabled i haven’t been able to find another.
