Husky 181?

Had someone call today, says he has a Husky 181 with a bad upper end. Said the Husky dealer said over $450 to fix.

Was there a 181? About what could I buy upper end parts for?

there was definitely a 181..and If i am correct..that changed into the 281, then the 288 eventually, and if, once again, I am correct I do believe any of those piston/cyl combos will work...

And before it was a 181 I think it was a 180, circa mid to late 80's.
